Linux System Administrator <Apply>
Location: San Diego, California
Type: Part Time/Contract
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of the Linux/Unix operating system. CentOS distribution preferred.
- Familiarity with Apache web server. Lighttpd web server knowledge a huge plus.
- Familiarity with MySQL and database administration tasks such as performance, backups, and stored procedures/functions.
- Solid grasp of the Perl programming language, and/or [Bash, Python].
- Excellent knowledge of server hardware and general troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for new technology and the Internet industry.
- A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self motivated and ability to work on tasks and projects with minimum supervision.
- Organized and disciplined problem solving.
- Experience with ProFTPD and/or iptables a huge plus.
Ruby On Rails Guru <Apply>
